About Me
I am a father, husband, writer and freethinker. I earn my living as a UNIX Systems Administrator, although I consider myself a writer.
The tools of my writing trade are my MacBook, MacJournal for blogging, Scrivner for writing projects, and Rapid Weaver for web site design.
My hobbies are playing guitar and photography. The common tool I use for both of these hobbies is a 13″ MacBook.
For guitar and songwriting, I use a Fender acoustic guitar, a Baltimore strat electric guitar, and a Digitech RP70 Digital Modeling Guitar Processor with Drum Machine. For recording I use my MacBook, POD Studio™ UX recording USB input. For recording and post production, I use my MacBook, Garage Band, and Audacity.
For photography, I use a Sanyo EPC-E2100 14 MegaPixel camera, with 21X optical zoom. For photo editing I use my MacBook, iPhotos, Photoshop, and Aperture.

Hello Jay,
I was pleased to find your Freethinking for Dummies blog this morning as I looked for some good subject material. You will be pleased to know that your blog comes up in the top ten Google results for the key words “free thinking” – pretty impressive, to say the least.
We actually have several things in common; for one thing, I am definitely a “wanna-be” writer! I love to write but have never been published. I have many full handwritten journals and hundreds and hundreds of pages of articles and blog posts – but for some reason I have never pursued publishing.
I have never asked anyone this yet, but since our sites seem to share a very similar worldview, it would be fantastic if you would link to it. I have added a link to your blog in the Freethought category; it will appear on every page. I have not yet begun to publicize Search for truth for several reasons, but since this subject is one of my absolute passions, it will be a long-term and substantial blog.

Hi Stephen.
Thanks for the comment. Let me read through your blog and I’ll get let you know.
For many years we spent all our time together and I always considered myself lucky to be your friend, even when we were sabotaging dumpdters together or mowing over rocks in New Hampshire. God has been good to you, after a tough spell to bring you l love and happiness. try not to psit in his face or faithfileld people like me, with every waking breath. I pray for your conversion of heart, and ask Mary, to bring your needs to her son.
Much love old friend, your stories are good writing Jay, a gift you always had and has grown to a real talent! Bravo!

John,
I value your friendship. The years we spent together were some of the most enjoyable of my life. I respect your wish to pray for me, and I wouldn’t dissuade you from doing so because I know you do it because you truly care for me. I am happy that your beliefs bring you happiness and peace and I don’t think that there is anything wrong with that. I respect your right to your beliefs, please respect my rights to mine, even if you don’t agree with them.
Lots of love.
Jay
